CLEAN is designed to address the overall health and wellness of students experiencing poverty. When a child is unable to maintain optimal health it can negatively impact their performance in school as well as their self esteem. In partnership with the Palm Beach County School District and the Palm Beach County Health Care District GIVT supplies the Palm Beach County School Clinics with CLEAN bags for those experiencing need. Each CLEAN bag contains a one month supply of essential body care products readily available in the School Clinic. Students are encouraged to return for refills as needed. The Nurses serving as the face of our program creates an opportunity for relationship building between the student and a health care professional who can ultimately connect the student to resources beyond hygiene.
